1 1/2 cups oats
1 cup whole wheat (or other flour)
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup pur maple syrup
1/3 cup canola oil or melted, unsalted butter
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
1/3 cup chopped walnuts
1/3 cup mini chocolate chips
1/3 cup unsweetened coconut (optional)
Mix dry ingredients.  Mix wet ingredients.  Mix dry and wet together.  Add mix-ins (chocolate chips, nuts, coconut, dried fruit, etc.) Bake 350 for 10-12 minutes.
